- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is necessary.
Role Description:
- This role will involve building and managing customer relationships to drive accelerated business growth and value for all stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for existing major accounts, central government, state government, PSUs, ministries, and defense organizations.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent energy, drive, and a genuine desire to grow business across a portfolio of accounts.
- They will have the ability to build effective relationships quickly and identify valuable business opportunities within each account, which can then be enhanced by leveraging internal resources.
- The Account Growth Specialist will win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned organizations and achieve sales and product mandates. They will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create product awareness in existing major accounts and identify new business opportunities from assigned accounts.
- Acquire new logos in government (central and state) and PSU industries from target companies.
- Track competition and employ world-class account management skills to identify opportunities.
- Be a highly competent presenter, with a proven track record in selling to C-level executives.
- Develop and maintain detailed account plans, including organizational charts, for review by management on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations affecting target markets.
- Develop market strategies and understand the strategies, goals, and objectives of accounts to create large deals in assigned accounts.
- Respond to RFPs and develop proposals for presentation to customers.
- Manage all aspects of the evaluation program or proof-of-concept.
- Create tender specification documents for project inclusion.
- Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process.
- Lead account planning activities with focused partners, internal teams, and external partners to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with an MBA being preferable.
- 8-10 years of direct sales experience, with prior knowledge of CAD software sales being beneficial.
- Proven achievement of assigned objectives, with a strong track record of consistent delivery.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, following up on own initiative.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Team-oriented self-starter with good problem-solving skills and the ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
