Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary IT Engineering Manager to lead our Data and Analytics team. As a key member of our global technology organization, you will oversee the technical delivery of innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.

As an IT Engineering Manager, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver products that meet business needs. You will be responsible for developing and mentoring junior to mid-level engineers, as well as implementing DevOps practices to enable a culture of continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience in Data and Analytics engineering, with at least 3 years in people management. They should have a strong track record of meeting business objectives and project goals, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale data engineering projects and implement cloud computing platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks. You will also mentor junior engineers and develop their skills in areas such as data engineering and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Accountable for the technical delivery of technical features to achieve business outcomes
  • Participates in solution approaches, designs, and operating principles
  • Serves as a liaison with other IT partners for technical matters relating to their owned products
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in Data and Analytics engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in people management, including line management
  • Strong critical thinking skills to solve complex technical problems
  • Proven track record of meeting business objectives and project goals
  • Good communication skills and teamwork focus mindset
