Expert AS400/RPG Programmer Sought

To deliver high-quality solutions, we are looking for an expert in developing and maintaining complex RPG programs for iSeries/AS400 environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We seek a programmer who can design, implement, and test SQLRPGLE programs with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Query/400 and ILE Advanced concepts to create efficient service programs and procedures.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with the client team independently to provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
  • We require someone to ensure uptime and availability of databases for reporting purposes.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming is required.
  • A strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE and database design principles is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should be proficient in CL programming skills for automation and OS/400 commands.
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts, FTP concepts, and automation is also desired.
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is highly desirable.
  • Any experience in Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 would be an added advantage.
