Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures aligned with industry best practices.
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Ensuring the continuous evolution of our client's infrastructure as code approach, ensuring automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
  • Eliminating single points of failure in the infrastructure.
  • Continuously improving efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
  • Collaborating between Security and DevOps teams to bridge gaps and improve overall system reliability.
  • Supporting sales, compliance, and delivery efforts through expert recommendations and technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Docker, Linux systems management, and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Git, GitHub, BitBucket, or Stash, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
  • Solid experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP).
  • Expertise in application and system monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
  • Experience with web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others), and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar).
  • Background in DevSecOps or Cloud Engineering in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in continuous integration/deploy environments.
  • AWS and automation expertise in microservice/SOA architecture.
