IT Infrastructure Strategy Manager

Our organization is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Strategy Manager to spearhead the planning, execution, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

This role will oversee servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, and data centers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and scalability needs, managing hybrid cloud environments with cost optimization, and implementing infrastructure security best practices while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure, with leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are also essential, as well as strong communication and project management abilities.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, and at least 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives and scalability needs.
  • Manage hybrid cloud environments (e.g. Nutanix, cloud migrations) with cost optimization.
  • Implement infrastructure security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and mentor infrastructure engineers and support staff; assign tasks, monitor performance, and enable growth.
  • Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Oversee proactive monitoring of systems and networks; resolve incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and infrastructure budgets; recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain detailed system/process documentation and prepare reports on infrastructure health and KPIs.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or equivalent roles.
  • Proven expertise in network, systems, and cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service delivery frameworks.
