Job Title: Capacity Management Specialist

Mercedes-Benz is seeking a highly skilled Capacity Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the capacity of semiconductor suppliers to meet the company's production needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and optimize semiconductor supply capacity.
  • Analyze capacity data and forecasts to ensure alignment with production schedules and demand plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to understand their capacity constraints and develop plans to address potential bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and report on supplier capacity performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to anticipate and address capacity-related issues.
  • Conduct regular capacity reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and production requirements.
  • Support negotiations with suppliers by providing capacity-related insights and data.
  • Develop and maintain capacity planning tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions that could impact capacity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance capacity management processes and performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of years of experience in capacity management, supply chain management, or procurement, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
