Key Responsibilities

The role entails delivering in-depth analysis to inform operational and product strategy for loan repayment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This involves leveraging internal and external data to build collection strategies, achieving high collection rates.

Additionally, the position requires managing team performance within the collections department, ensuring sufficient staff to handle workload. Monitoring repayment metrics is also a key aspect, influencing vendor strategies to maximize repayment at optimal cost.

A successful candidate will have experience in analysing data, using database query language (e.g. SQL), analysis and programming tools like Python, R, Databricks. They will possess an analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.

Requirements
  • Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, business or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years' experience in analysing data, using database query language (e.g. SQL), analysis and programming tools like Python, R, Databricks.
  • Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders.
