Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee daily reporting processes and controls for various regulatory frameworks, including EMIR, MiFID II, and REMIT.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Managers and Technology partners to address reporting exceptions and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Provide assurance on the completeness and accuracy of regulatory reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Work closely with business and functional partners to resolve queries and address regulatory reporting concerns.
  • Supervise the monitoring of regulatory thresholds, reviewing dashboards and threshold alerts to identify potential compliance risks.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including customer communication packs and process notes, to support regulatory reporting activities.
  • Complete portfolio reconciliation activities, handling queries from internal and external counterparties, and ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Document and maintain records of reporting incidents, including consultation with Senior Compliance Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in regulated environments, covering transaction reporting operations, regulatory change, and data analysis.
  • Proven knowledge of financial and wholesale energy reporting regulations, including EMIR, MiFID II, and REMIT.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong compliance approach, with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in producing high-quality documentation, including requirements specifications and test cases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
