Job Summary

The job requires a professional with excellent project management skills to oversee the planning and execution of various projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing project blueprints, determining the scope of work, planning and scheduling project targets, and preparing purchase requisitions.

  • Review project blueprints received from clients
  • Determine the scope of work (tonnage, inch diameter, square meters) from blueprints
  • Check material take-off (MTO) for the scope of work from blueprints and materials received at the yard
  • Plan and schedule project targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Review inspection test plans (ITP) and follow requirements
  • Prepare purchase requisitions for procurement of MTO
  • Review proposals received from vendors for specifications and quantity
  • Maintain materials control charts and reconcile free-issued materials by clients
  • Handle manpower and tools/equipment at project sites

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar project management role
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from a reputable institution
  • Preferably additional qualifications in Piping Engineering and Design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel software
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD design software
  • ASNT Level II certifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT
