This role is crucial in the company's software development ecosystem. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to the mobile payments industry by delivering high-quality database solutions and innovative features for customer-centric applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (12c/19c and later) in Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Configure RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and clustering for high availability.
  • Manage Oracle listener, network services, and connectivity.
  • Proactively monitor database health and availability using OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) and custom monitoring scripts.
  • Perform advanced SQL query tuning, indexing strategies, and optimizer statistics management.
  • Utilize AWR, ASH, ADDM reports for performance diagnostics and tuning.
  • Optimize schema design, partitioning strategies, and storage allocation.
  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using RMAN, Data Guard, and RAC.
  • Configure and manage standby databases (physical/logical) for DR readiness.
  • Validate backup integrity and conduct regular DR drills.
  • Implement data encryption (TDE, Data Redaction, Network Encryption) and access control policies.
  • Enforce security standards aligned with regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, SQL & PL/SQL development, Performance tuning and troubleshooting, Linux/Unix administration, and shell scripting.
