Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Associate in the GST Advisory & Litigation department. This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual to leverage their knowledge and expertise in indirect tax advisory/litigation to drive business growth and success.

  • About the Role:
    • This position involves working closely with clients to provide in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions, drafting advises, opinions, and compliance reports, and preparing PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and experience in indirect tax advisory/litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal provisions to identify areas of risk and opportunities for clients.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Communication and Client Service:
    • Provide exceptional client service by delivering high-quality advice, opinions, and compliance reports in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring they understand their obligations and options.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless and integrated services to clients.
    • Contribute to the development of knowledge management systems and processes to ensure best practices and lessons learned are captured and shared.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • CA or LLB from a recognized Law School with a strong academic track record.
    • Very good English language skills (fluency required) and a good personality.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years in Indirect Tax post-qualification experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
