Team Leader Job Description

The Team Leader is a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing day-to-day operations in the Audit & Assurance Department.

This leadership position demands strong expertise to mentor project leaders, manage client expectations, and drive operational efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely communication with clients regarding project status and progress.
  • Review team outputs (workings, audit reports, and certifications) and maintain structured review documentation.
  • Track and consolidate daily work submissions from project leaders.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and conduct training initiatives.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and periodic discussions with senior management.
  • Cascade received training to project leaders.
  • Guide team members to achieve performance benchmarks and optimize their output.
  • Maintain professional conduct and discipline at client premises.
  • Prepare and present project observations to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Identify and develop potential leaders across various projects.
  • Create internal project backups for smooth handovers.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of audit & assurance standards and processes.
  • Expertise in reviewing and analyzing audit work papers.
  • Knowledge of MIS reporting, compliance requirements, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
