Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified educator to join our team as a Maths Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.


Key Responsibilities
  • Teach core maths subjects to students in an inclusive and supportive environment
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and course materials that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress through regular tests and assignments, providing constructive feedback to improve their performance
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes active learning and teamwork
  • Contribute to curriculum development and review processes to ensure our maths programme remains relevant and challenging

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Post-Graduation Diploma in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory
  • CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET certification for upper primary and secondary classes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised school or institution
  • Experience in developing and implementing curricula, assessments, and instructional materials
  • Strong knowledge of maths pedagogy, including differentiated instruction and universal design for learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to achieve academic goals
