Senior Network Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network professional to join our dynamic team.

  • Job Description:

Senior Network Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our client's network infrastructure across various environments.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced networking expertise and a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
    • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex network issues, including Layer 2/3 protocols, routing, switching, security, and WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies.
  • Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
    • Continuously monitor the health and performance of the network infrastructure using network management tools. Identify and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks, outages, or network degradation.
  • Configuration & Deployment:
    • Lead the configuration and deployment of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis:
    • Drive incident response during major network outages or service disruptions, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to restore service.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting steps.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure that the network infrastructure is secured and compliant with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams:
    • Work closely with other technical teams to provide integrated solutions to network-related problems.
  • Change Management:
    • Participate in change management processes by providing risk assessments and support for network changes and upgrades.
