Senior Infrastructure Engineer Leader

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps professional to lead the development, deployment, and management of scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads operating at an enterprise level.
  • Implement automation and infrastructure services.
  • Identify and address potential risks within the infrastructure, network, or security.
  • Research, implement, and test technologies and solutions to improve performance, reliability, availability, security, and efficiency on AWS.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to implement corrective actions during and after incidents.
  • Design software architecture for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance.
  • Document and audit DevOps practices.
  • Provide leadership and direction to DevOps engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and related cluster components such as logging, metrics, security, RBAC, autoscaling, etc.
  • At least 7 years of experience in AWS, including minimum 1+ year in a Lead DevOps role, with expertise in a broad range of AWS technologies such as EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, DynamoDB, Secret Manager, and Guard Duty.
  • Expertise in DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Bash Scripting, CI/CD, etc.
  • Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, or Go.
  • Expertise in automating, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience working with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus preferred).
  • Familiarity with best practices and cloud security (AWS Well-Architected Framework).
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with a globally-distributed team.
