Job Title

Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support business growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve collaboration between development teams.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC practices with tools like Terraform or ARM Templates.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to enhance product delivery, ensuring efficiency, speed, and quality.
  • Monitor System Performance: Track system performance and optimize resource utilization for applications to ensure maximum uptime and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure Application Security and Compliance: Ensure that applications meet industry security standards and compliance requirements to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
  • DevOps Transformations: Lead and manage DevOps transformations, driving the implementation of best practices and improving overall team productivity.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Offer support and guidance to cross-functional teams, helping resolve technical challenges and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Identify and Resolve Technical Issues: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
  • Documentation: Maintain and document architecture designs, deployment procedures, and guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Stay Updated with Technologies: Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps to stay ahead of the curve and drive innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Azure DevOps tools and services, CI/CD tools like Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or ARM Templates.
  • Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Architecture: Strong understanding of cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
  • Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Grafana.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
