Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Sector: IT Consulting Services

Location: Remote Work Opportunity

Duration: 6-month project

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time Zone

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud deployments, systems, and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cloud-based systems, applications, and infrastructure to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy cloud solutions
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of cloud-based systems and data
  • Analyze and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and applications to identify and resolve issues
  • Design and implement automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend new solutions and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of cloud-based applications and tools
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cloud-related matters
  • Assist in the migration of on-premises systems to cloud-based platforms
  • Conduct regular health checks and performance monitoring of cloud-based systems and applications
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud-based systems and applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, and deployment
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems and applications
  • Experience with cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of cloud-native programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
