Revenue Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate recognition and reporting of revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Recognition: Ensure compliance with accounting standards for recognizing revenue correctly, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for business growth.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze actual vs. forecasted revenue, explaining key drivers of change and suggesting strategies to optimize performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align revenue goals with business strategy, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits related to revenue and billing, ensuring seamless interactions and minimizing audit findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified Charted Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification
  • 1-3 years of experience in revenue accounting or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems SAP S4 Hana, BI tools an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
