About the Role:

The Area Business Manager is a key position responsible for driving sales growth and development through effective leadership of a team of field officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets by developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth
  • Ensure brand-wise sales targets are met, with a focus on high-performing brands
  • Maintain high productivity levels by optimizing business processes and reducing unnecessary expenses
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors and collection partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive product adoption
  • Support strategic alliance programs to maximize returns on investment from KOLs
  • Identify and develop core customer segments for each product and track their performance
  • Enhance in-clinic effectiveness by directing field officer efforts towards key objectives
  • Improve field officer competence through coaching and teamwork development initiatives
  • Implement business process discipline and hygiene, ensuring efficient planning and organization
  • Effectively execute marketing programs and track their success
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports
