Excellence in Anatomy Education: A Distinguished Academic Position
We are seeking an exceptional educator and researcher to lead our Anatomy Department. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching expertise, and a passion for research.
The Professor of Anatomy will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. They will also guide students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
Ambitious Research Agenda:
- Conduct original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
- Publish research papers in reputable peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
- Collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary research.
Leadership and Service:
- Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).
- Organize academic events such as CMEs, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
- Maintain departmental records, cadaver procurement, and laboratory resources.
- Ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Clinical Skills and Simulation:
- Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
- Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
- Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.
Requirements:
- MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
- Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
- Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.

- Research aptitude with ability to secure grants and publish.
- Commitment to academic excellence, student development, and ethical practices.
