Job Summary

The Senior Executive will be responsible for leading the logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods within the unit. This role will require coordination with various departments, including planning, packing, and procurement, to develop and implement purchasing plans. Additionally, the Senior Executive will oversee the receipt and control of daily purchases, manage inventory levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing plans to ensure timely and adequate movement of materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transporters to monitor order status and deliveries.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO policies.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan and coordinate the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team and coordinate with various departments.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize logistics and supply chain operations.
