Job Summary

As a Senior Executive at Diageo, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the logistics operations of the Meghalaya Unit (CMJ). Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to optimize logistics processes, ensuring smooth operations, and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics plans, including procurement, storage, packaging, and dispatch.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics team, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and excise bodies to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels at all times.
  • Develop and implement procedures for monitoring inventory levels and maintaining optimum stock levels.
  • Manage the logistics budget, ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing costs.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the unit head, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
