Multimedia Editor: Localization Specialist (WFH)

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Editor to join our team as a Localization Specialist. This role involves preparing, testing, and optimizing audio, video, graphics, and interactive content for localization across multiple languages and markets.

  1. Proficiency in multimedia editing tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Power Point, Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Camtasia, Adobe After Effect, and Vyond is required.
  2. Strong attention to detail is essential, as this role involves ensuring that all localized content meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  3. Effective communication skills are necessary to properly explain project requirements and needs to team members and stakeholders.
  4. A strong analytical mindset is required to handle the technical complexities of multimedia localization projects.
  5. Proactive QA checks are performed on localized multimedia content to ensure accuracy, synchronization, and compliance with standards.
  6. Collaboration with project managers, linguists, and developers is crucial to ensure smooth localization processes.
  7. Initiative takers are encouraged to proactively solve challenges, optimize workflows, and improve overall efficiency in the localization process.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, along with a good IQ level.
  9. Timely delivery of high-quality localized assets is ensured by proactive management of dependencies and addressing issues.
  10. At least 3-6 years of experience in multimedia localization is required.
  11. Work schedule is flexible, but night shifts (8.30 PM – 5.30 AM India time) are common.

Ability to prioritize and coordinate competing work demands and maintain composure under pressure is necessary.

Fluent communication skills of written and verbal English are required.

Ability to report work orally and in writing as required is essential.

Understanding of personal computers and software applications, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems, is necessary.

Team player with excellent collaboration skills and ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships is desired.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding company financials and other sensitive information is required.

Quality focus and detail-oriented approach is necessary to ensure high-quality output.
