Service Leader – SMT Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Service Leader to oversee service operations for our SMT equipment, with a strong focus on Fuji SMT systems.

This role requires technical leadership, customer management, and team supervision to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead Service Operations for SMT machines, primarily Fuji platforms (e.g., NXT, NXTR series).
  • Install, commission, and support Fuji SMT lines at customer sites with minimal downtime.
  • Supervise a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and audits to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Maintain strong communication with Fuji Japan for technical updates and escalations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless customer support.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation as per company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical training to internal teams and customer personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in SMT industry, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience with Fuji SMT machines.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Fuji platforms: NXTR, NXT series, feeders, placement heads, and vision systems.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (domestic and possibly international).
  • Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with IPC standards and SMT process optimization is a plus. Experience with other SMT brands (e.g., Panasonic, Yamaha, ASM) is advantageous.
Preferred Certifications
  • Fuji Certified Engineer (if applicable)
  • IPC-A-610 or equivalent SMT standards training
