Senior Financial Director Job

This senior financial position involves leading the finance department in strategic planning, financial reporting and analysis. A strong leader with a deep understanding of finance will ensure compliance with statutory regulations and drive efficiency through technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, payable, general ledger, cost accounting and inventory accounting.
  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert on GST-related matters ensuring accurate and timely filing of GST returns.
  • Take ownership of the finance module in SAP B1 utilizing advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports and create complex queries.
  • Lead the monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes preparing and presenting accurate financial statements and management reports according to Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with statutory regulations including TDS TCS Provident Fund ESI and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Mentor guide and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional certification CA / CMA highly preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Business One strong proficiency in SQL deep practical expertise in Indian GST laws comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS corporate law and direct/indirect taxation.
