Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust estimation processes that deliver high-quality and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed estimates for projects, including input studies, RFI generation, HVAC equipment take-off, and preparation of IO summaries.
  • Preparing proposals, including studying specifications and arriving at inclusion/exclusion lists, technical qualifications/assumptions/deviations.
  • Creating technical submittals, such as system architecture, floor risers, control schematics, and specification compliance.
  • Managing vendor relationships and commercial exposure, including taxation and budgeting.
  • Contributing to the development of regional technical preferences and product knowledge.
  • Performing quality checks on jobs and contributing to the establishment of standardized processes for cost optimization and cycle time reduction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Instrumentation Control, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field, with exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
  • Pre-sales process knowledge and ability to manage jobs and/or projects to standards and budgets.
  • Value engineering approach and MS Office competency.
