Job Opportunity: Project Oversight Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled project oversight specialist who can lead projects from inception to completion.

The role involves estimation, design coordination, production planning, site execution, and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimation & Project Planning:
    • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets through thorough analysis and review of tender documents, client specifications, and drawings.
    • Assist in preparing proposals and techno-commercial offers that meet client requirements.
    • Develop project schedules with milestones and timelines to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Site Visits & Client Coordination:
    • Conduct initial site visits to understand scope and constraints, and provide technical input during client meetings and negotiations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project.
  • Design & Technical Coordination:
    • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for PEB drawings, anchor bolt layouts, and civil/structural designs to ensure timely release of 'Good for Construction' drawings.
    • Validate drawings for constructability and practical execution to minimize project delays.
  • Production Planning & Procurement:
    • Plan fabrication schedules in line with site requirements to ensure smooth production progress.
    • Monitor production progress at factory and ensure quality control measures are implemented.
    • Coordinate procurement of steel, plates, roofing, cladding, and accessories to meet project requirements.
    • Track material dispatches to site as per project schedule to ensure timely delivery.
  • Site Execution & Monitoring:
    • Supervise foundation, erection, roofing, cladding, and finishing works to ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
    • Manage subcontractors, labor, and equipment deployment to optimize project outcomes.
    • Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays and ensure project continuity.
  • Project Completion & Handover:
    • Monitor snag lists and ensure rectifications before handover to meet client expectations.
    • Prepare final documentation including as-built drawings, quality reports, and completion certificates to facilitate smooth project closure.
    • Conduct client walkthroughs and obtain approvals to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Support accounts/finance team in payment milestone certifications to ensure timely payments.
