Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Business Strategist with extensive experience in the trade of polymers to join our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To identify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and potential markets
  • Develop and maintain an accurate database of customer contacts, inquiries, and offers through regular communication
  • Source and trade plastic resins, including PP, PE, PET, and PVC, from Indian producers and distributors
  • Represent the company at meetings and conferences in India and international tradeshows to promote our products
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Indian resin manufacturers
  • Support the Branch Manager in overseeing logistics, inventory management, and cargo allocation
  • Conduct market research, gathering data on market trends, competitors, and customer behavior
  • Compile marketing reports, analyzing market conditions and competitor offerings
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies to attract potential customers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trading polymers in India and global markets
  • In-depth knowledge of the polymer market in India
  • Able to work domestically or abroad, with frequent travel
  • Strong understanding of business policies and regulations

  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and strategic insight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding leadership qualities and negotiation abilities
  • Effective time and task management
  • Ability to work independently under high pressure and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade, or related fields
  • PREFERRED: MBA degree
