This role involves managing all month-end close activities in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial reporting and be able to prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly profit and loss statements as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day transactions are processed efficiently and that corporate policies and procedures are adhered to. Additionally, the role requires assistance with resolving ad-hoc queries raised by internal stakeholders, reviewing fixed asset registers, and coordinating with auditors.
Requirements include:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in management information systems or statutory reporting
- Preferred experience working in a technology company, particularly in subscription or software-as-a-service businesses
- Proven experience working in multinational environments and knowledge of finance and accounting principles in various markets
Key skills and qualifications include advanced Excel features and functionalities, excellent verbal and written communication, and knowledge/experience in accounting standards such as U.S. GAAP or International GAAP.
