Job Description:

Honeywell Technology Solutions has an integral technology development and engineering arm providing technology, product and business solutions meeting global standards in quality, innovation and lifetime performance. They have centers in India, Czech Republic working on various Honeywell products from conception to technology development and delivery.

We are looking for a professional responsible for managing and updating the Aero lab across different sites. The person will handle different test solutions and equipment ensuring they are up-to-date with calibration and certification requirements.

This role works with different teams across Aero to update and review electrical, mechanical needs for different test setups as per product specifications. The professional is also responsible for maintaining and optimizing lab layout to create space for upcoming programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of using different lab instruments and tools like DMM, Analyzers etc.
  • Strong work experience with Cable harness fabrication (crimping & Soldering) as per standards.
  • Detailed knowledge of different kinds of power used across labs (AC & DC).
  • Plan the lab layout for different types of test benches and explore opportunities for lab space optimization.
  • Plan electrical and Mechanical requirement of different labs across HTS site and support deployment of test benches in lab.
  • Cable fab, Soldering, Lab Equipment Handling, ESD in lab and have good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Electrical & mechanical integration knowledge.
  • Proactively connect with users and collaborate with product teams to understand overall test solution needs.
  • Effectively map the competitive landscape, benchmark the design and technology trends
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of industry experience in lab management with hand-on experience in equipment calibration, testing and maintenance.
  • Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience on dealing with different teams across organizations for coordination of lab upgrade and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of different kinds of cable harness and connectors (DSUB,Circular).
  • Good understanding of different lab equipment, their functions and input requirements.
  • Go-getter attitude and ability to maneuver in complex, abstract and dynamic business scenarios
