Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test scripts.

About This Role
  • Design and develop robust test automation frameworks using Python.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze test results, identify root causes, and report bugs using bug-tracking tools. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance existing automation test suites, work with APIs and RESTful services to validate backend functionality, and ensure high-quality and reliable product releases through automation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation using Python.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
  • Proficient in working with Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
  • Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust.
