Senior Software Test Automation Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Test Automation Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software test automation development and be able to design, develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality software applications are delivered on time. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take their career to the next level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain end-to-end automation test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Build scalable automation frameworks and reusable test components.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and track defects.
  • Work closely with manual QA engineers and developers to understand product requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous integration (CI/CD) by integrating test scripts into CI pipelines.
  • Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, and a solid understanding of XPath, CSS selectors, and DOM structure.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, version control systems, and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools, API automation testing, and BDD frameworks.
