Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize test automation frameworks using Playwright and JavaScript to ensure effective validation of our web applications.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI components, ensuring high performance and reliability of our applications.
  • Translate manual test cases into automated scripts for thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile framework, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate automated testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enhance release efficiency.
  • Work closely with development, product management, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate efficient issue resolution.
  • Utilize JIRA for test management and defect tracking, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement by adopting best practices in automation and quality assurance.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and providing clear updates on testing progress and application quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and expertise in Playwright for UI automation testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing automated tests with Playwright.
  • Extensive experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD environments.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication skills, particularly in liaising with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.

Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
