Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Loungewear Buyer to join our team. This role involves developing the divisional buying and merchandising strategy, sourcing quality products at competitive prices, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing department and management to plan pricing strategies and reach optimal agreements with suppliers.
  • Sourcing: Identify future product offerings by researching customer needs and technological trends, and negotiate with the supply base to achieve best costs and margins.
  • Style Development: Work closely with designers on style development, design research trips, fabric advice, and informing best sellers for move-on styles.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns to ensure smooth operations.
  • Market Research: Track competitor's activities through market research to understand trends, forecasting, color, fabric, etc.
