Job Title: Shift Manager

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and reliability of Data Center facilities, managing critical situations to meet customer requirements, and achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  1. Leading the Shift Team:
  • Lead the shift team and ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned activities with effective communication.
Complaint Resolution:
  • Track and resolve complaints within SLA deviations.
Incident Management:
  • Manage incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement recommendations within deadlines, with periodic reviews of RCA.
Asset Management:
  • Oversee asset management, including warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
5 PPM Tracking:
  • Monitor 5 PPM tracking and completion with TAT, ensuring 100% availability of equipment, and manage vendors with RAT and TAT on complaints, maintaining uptime of redundant equipment.
Inventory Management:
  • Track and maintain records for all stocks as per BCP requirements.
Customer Communication:
  • Coordinate with CE teams for customer-related queries and submit reports on time.
Audit and Compliance:
  • Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
Physical Security:
  • Achieve physical security processes.
Risk Assessment:
  • Prepare risk assessments and period validations based on incidents and RCA.
Inventory Updates:
  • Update inventories up-to-date with capacity vs accompany vs balance on monthly bases, including customer details on Rack inventory.
Reporting:
  • Submit all reports on time, adhering to agreed timelines.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Educational Background:
  • Educational background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Work Experience:
  • Proven relevant work experience in the Data Center Industry.
Technical Skills:
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
Organizational Skills:
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
