Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance function of facilities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with safety regulations.

This role involves coordinating and executing preventive maintenance activities, supervising maintenance teams, and managing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve maintenance practices.
  • Managing inventory levels, purchasing materials, and monitoring spare parts.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards through regular inspections and audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience in team management and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint).
