VFX Mentor Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to mentor and direct our artists, particularly in the field of VFX. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and training in Houdini Software for Film and Advertising needs, from basic to advanced levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Houdini Software Training on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Teach a structured approach to create convincing results for clients through Lookdev.
  • Offer solutions for seamless integration between Houdini, Autodesk Maya, and Blender or vice versa.
  • Deliver effective teaching to in-house VFX Artists to enhance their skills.
  • Share your experience as a VFX Artist in the global cinema industry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series is required.
  • Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and production process is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred) is required.
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus.
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent skills and creative approach is mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini is required.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills are essential.
  • Artistic skills with high attention to detail are necessary.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in the English language is required.
