Visual Effects Artist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for integrating computer-generated (CG) elements into live-action footage, enhancing the visual impact of architectural renders, and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Composite multi-pass CG renders for architectural projects, meeting project deadlines.
  • Integrate lighting, effects, particles, and other CG elements into live-action backgrounds, maintaining consistency and aesthetic appeal.
  • Perform blue/green screen keying and matte extraction, requiring hands-on experience and attention to detail.
  • Composite in a 2.5D/3D space, utilizing essential compositing skills and techniques.
  • Apply color grading and correction to ensure visual consistency across different scenes and shots.
  • Perform 2D and 3D tracking to accurately place and orient objects within a scene.
  • Create morphing and warping effects as needed, using creative problem-solving skills.
  • Troubleshoot visual errors and maintain the highest level of visual quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in compositing and editing within a visual effects or post-production studio.
  • Possess a strong understanding of compositing principles and visual aesthetics, with the ability to apply this knowledge in various contexts.
  • Show the ability to work on both still images and walkthrough animations, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
  • Exhibit good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect.

Preferred Tools & Software:

  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Show basic experience with Motion Graphics and a willingness to learn additional tools and software.
