Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team as a Financial Analyst. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence on clients, gathering and analyzing client information, and verifying compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role involves working with a team to ensure that our clients comply with regulations concerning anti-money laundering (AML), combating the financing of terrorism (CFT), and other compliance requirements. Your insights and analysis will be critical to ensuring our organization continues to lead with trust and deliver distinctive outcomes for our clients and communities.

About this Role:
  • Client Due Diligence: Conduct CDD on clients by gathering and analyzing information such as identity verification, source of funds, and beneficial ownership for different entity types.
  • Document Verification: Perform initial checks on client documents and data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Research and Data Analysis: Conduct research using various databases and sources to verify client information and identify potential risks.
  • Risk Evaluation: Evaluate clients based on risk factors including business activities, geographic location, and other relevant aspects.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Regularly review and update KYC profiles, conduct periodic reviews, and event-driven reviews to ensure continuous compliance.
What We're Looking For:
  • KYC Compliance: Proficient in KYC and related compliance activities.
  • Financial Crime Compliance: Experience in detecting, investigating, and preventing financial crimes.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to analyze financial data.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Ability to manage and maintain accurate documentation of client data and ongoing monitoring records.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and compliance status.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client profiles to ensure ongoing compliance with AML/CFT regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance-related issues and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-6 years of experience in KYC, AML compliance, or a related role within the consulting industry or financial institutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
  • Familiarity with financial products, services, and industry regulations.
