Enterprise Risk Management Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to develop, implement, and review credit risk models and associated frameworks in an unsecured rural/semi-urban lending context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Risk Analysis: Develop, implement, and review credit risk models and associated frameworks to ensure accurate risk assessments and effective decision-making.
  • Risk Governance: Implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections.
  • Portfolio Performance: Regularly review portfolio performance across various risk metrics to identify early warning signals and analyze trends to track portfolio quality on accepted risk parameters.
  • Risk Policies: Ensure risk policies are timely reviewed and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Industry Insights: Analyze industry data on a large scale, prepare MIS/Dashboards, and apprise senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Process Optimization: Regularly review processes for adherence to risk policies and check if controls are effectively in place and working.
  • Risk Framework: Coordinate with various internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: BTech or MTech from a Tier 1 college.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a NBFC/Fintech/Lending organization.
  • Technical Skills: 2+ years of experience in Python and SQL is mandatory. Excellent understanding of data and ability to bring insights.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Added Advantage: Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending will be an added advantage.
