Job Title: Senior Credit Risk Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk function, you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating credit risk across our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on high-complexity processes and reporting, requiring detailed interpretation and understanding of credit-related information used to finalize reports and presentations within the scope of the function.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute reports, as well as perform quality control, including data analysis, evaluation, and presentation of results in Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Regularly review credit ratings, key figures, and reporting for defined portfolios, such as Leveraged Structures and Real Estate.
  • Coordinate incoming inquiries and serve as the point of contact for the dedicated CRM team, ensuring uniform communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to track ongoing progress, identify core issues, and ensure effective coordination and actioning of all issues.
  • Work with finance and credit risk change teams on strategic initiatives, assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes or enhancements to risk systems, and document routine processes according to agreed procedures.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) overviews for audit requirements and lead a team, providing leadership and guidance on people management topics.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in banking and/or credit risk.
  • University degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Detailed knowledge of DB Credit Risk or other DB Risk systems is beneficial.
  • People management experience is preferred.
