Job Summary

As a seasoned database professional, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores.

You will oversee deployments and enforce best practices to guarantee seamless system functionality. Collaborating with the security team, you will ensure database security and manage database migrations between servers and versions.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases, working closely with vendor support on complex problems that require their expertise. You will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to databases.

Working in tandem with other IT team members, including the development team, you will ensure system availability and performance. This includes creating Change Management Requests with IT and Development.

You will provide support to reporting team members with database queries and data requirements. Additionally, you will offer Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.

Collaborating with development team members, you will work on AI integrations. You will design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

To optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability, you will integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.

Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across dashboards, you will implement row-level security and manage access permissions in Power BI.

Your role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
