About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Deputy Manager to join our team in ensuring the smooth operation of our exchange and financial institution.

Your primary responsibility will be to apply professional audit principles, policies, and procedures to regular audits of members and internal departments.

This includes conducting onsite inspections of members and joint inspections with regulatory bodies, developing and implementing compliance awareness programs, preparing and verifying inspection reports, and organizing member compliance workshops.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the highest standards of audit excellence and ensuring the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct onsite inspections of members and joint inspections with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely completion within stipulated deadlines (average 5-6 inspections per month).
  • Compliance Awareness: Develop and implement compliance awareness programs for members, sharing best practices and mandatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Prepare and verify inspection reports and checklists, ensuring accuracy and submission of data to the relevant authorities post-inspection.
  • Member Support: Visit and inspect authorized persons of members, monitoring their adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Organize member compliance workshops to educate and raise awareness about regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant (CMA) qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of total experience, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in broking/exchange/financial institution operations.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in audit procedures and knowledge of current accounting and audit principles, policies, and internal controls.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent written communication, attention to detail, analytical, and investigating skills. Strong time management, result orientation, process adherence, and problem-solving skills.
