Event Management Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Event Management Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the execution of meetings and events, driving the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Assist the Manager in the execution of meetings and events, including researching and analyzing new products, pricing, and services of competition.

Review scheduled events and troubleshoot potential challenges/conflicts, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Coordinate all groups that will impact property operations, maintaining open communication channels and adapting to changing priorities.

Oversight of cleaning and maintenance of meeting space and corresponding heart of the house areas, ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Oversight of furniture and equipment maintenance, ensuring inventory levels align with corporate guidelines.

Execution of brand service initiatives in event management areas, promoting exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth.

Daily walk-through of banquet floor to drive client satisfaction and maintain quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
