Payment Systems Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop, configure and maintain applications that support transaction processing and payment systems.

This role involves designing, developing and integrating ATM, POS and payment switch systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in transaction processing development and support with a strong background in payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure and maintain applications for transaction processing and payment systems.
  • Work on the design, development and integration of ATM, POS and payment switch systems.
  • Perform enhancements, customizations and defect fixes in transaction processing modules.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support production environments, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for security, scalability and high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, infrastructure and business analysts.
  • Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer and guidance to junior developers.
Required Skills

Strong experience with Tandem/HP NonStop (TACL, TAL, COBOL, C, SCOBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL/MP) is required.

A good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is necessary.

Hands-on experience with XPNET, ACI tools and transaction processing modules is desirable.

Experience in system performance tuning, debugging and troubleshooting is also required.

Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
