Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled system reliability expert to ensure the stability, scalability and efficiency of our production systems. This is a challenging opportunity for a technical professional to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance infrastructure for our critical services.
  • Develop automation scripts to reduce operational overhead and improve deployment efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to build scalable and reliable applications.
  • Design and develop monitoring tools to track system performance and alert on potential issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks and optimize system configuration.
  • Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies to protect against outages.
  • Advocate for best practices in reliability engineering throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in system reliability engineering with expertise in tools like Prometheus.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.

Responsibilities include collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and resolve system reliability issues, designing and implementing high-performance infrastructure, developing automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency, and participating in on-call rotations to lead incident response efforts. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in system reliability engineering and proficiency with tools like Prometheus.
