High-Voltage Inverter Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical design engineer to contribute to the development of innovative and reliable high-voltage inverters.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HV inverter mechanical design and development, including knowledge of high voltage inverter components, clearances, and creepage, as well as basic simulations on structural and thermal analysis.

Advanced expertise in Unigraphics NX, including modeling, drafting, plastic, and casting design, generative sheet metal, and generative shape design, is highly desirable. Excellent drafting knowledge and adherence to international standards are also essential.

In addition, the successful candidate will have experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA), strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. They will be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and have a passion for mechanical design.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of HV inverter mechanical design and development.
  • Basic understanding of high voltage inverter components.
  • Knowledge of clearances and creepage.
  • Basic simulations on structural and thermal analysis.
  • Advanced/expert in Unigraphics NX.
  • Excellent drafting knowledge and best practices of drafting according to international standards.
  • Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
