System Administrator - Windchill PLM

We are seeking a seasoned system administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Windchill PLM.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Windchill, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as required
  • Configure and customize Windchill according to business requirements
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Windchill configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Implement best practices for data management and system security

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities, with experience in configuration, customization, and integration. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL is also essential. Familiarity with AWS deployment and Linux administration is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as a Windchill System Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, modules, and functionalities
  • Experience with Windchill configuration, customization, and integration
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and SQL
  • Familiarity with PLM best practices and data management principles
  • Experience deploying or managing Windchill in AWS
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting
