About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Technology Transformation Specialist to lead design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. This is a key position in driving digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, and cloud platforms
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases (SQL, historian, timeseries) for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, and SPC
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies (REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMIs), plant floor connectivity, and manufacturing standards (ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Certifications in Ignition, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications
