Key E-Commerce Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned E-Commerce Manager to oversee the setup and execution of our USA e-commerce operations.

This role involves managing import/export documentation, customs clearance, duties, and compliance. You will be responsible for liaising with manufacturers, freight forwarders, and trading companies for shipment consolidation, evaluating and optimizing logistics for cost-effective movement of goods, and standardizing paperwork and streamlining processes for shipments into the U.S.

E-Commerce Sales Channel Setup:

  • You will oversee onboarding and operations across Amazon USA (Fulfillment by Amazon), Shopify storefront, and other U.S. marketplaces.
  • You will coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and warehouses for inventory management and fulfillment.
  • You will ensure compliance with U.S. regulations regarding product labeling, documentation, and marketplace rules.
  • You will support listing optimization and marketplace readiness.

Business & Cross-functional Coordination:

  • You will collaborate with the finance team for supplier/trader payments and consolidated invoicing.
  • You will work with the tech team to integrate tools such as ERP/CRM systems, inventory management systems, and shipping dashboards.
  • You will provide leadership with reports on shipments, channel readiness, and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology + Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Operations, Supply Chain, or International Business.
  • 2-4 years in import/export operations, supply chain, or e-commerce logistics.
  • Knowledge of U.S. customs, Goods and Services Tax (GST)/duties, and compliance paperwork.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Walmart, or other U.S. marketplace operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and external vendors.
